March means Spring

Happy Friday Friends!!

I am looking forward to my weekend in Nashville to see P!ink in concert.  Thanks to my hubby-to-be for buying me a ticket for my birthday! This is bound to be a great weekend with my sister and friend Erin {who I do not get to see enough of}!

I promise to tell you all about my weekend {after it happens} but how about reviewing my week through pictures using my favorite app...Instagram!

It is Insta-Friday my friends...

life rearranged

I have a thing for dragons these days {really only one}.  Andrew is the reason I find that red dragon so cute! The countdown is at 26 days for anyone keeping count {probably only me but that is ok}!

Thought for the day: "TRUST protects you from worrying and obsessing.  THANKFULNESS keeps you from criticizing and complaining" Try keeping these two simple words in mind and notice how your daily focus changes.  Inspiration gets me through the tough days.

With a visit from mom, dad and my sister came a fun dinner out! Of course I chose Stacked Pickle they have great fried pickles and fries!! Visitors always make me happy but also make me realize how lonely I can get.

About a month ago I bought this off my friend but just now able to enjoy it since mom and dad brought it from South Bend.  I loved it after one cup and more than positive Andrew is going to like the option of either having a cuppa tea or coffee. What are your favorite flavors? Which would you recommend?

Royal Mail never disappoints! I didn't waste any time tasting the new tea flavors or wearing my shirt to work! I love surprises and sharing Wales with others.

While having a date night on Skype, Andrew was giving me a lesson in the Welsh language.  Let's just say I am NOT a natural.  Welsh is a difficult language but these are probably my two favorite words:
cwtch=hug
tara=goodbye

The last line in this picture translate into "you are the best thing that has ever happened to me" Even in Welsh he knows how to make me melt. I have a keeper, friends! Can you read Welsh?

March makes me happy because there is so much to celebrate; birthdays, St. Patrick's Day, a marriage, SPRING and...Andrew's arrival!  The sun is going to start shining more, the weather is going to get warmer and I most exciting I get to spend time with Andrew.

Happy March and Friday to all! Have a great weekend friends.

Nashville here I come...

xoxo

Vanilla Raspberry Cupcakes

Happy Easter! Holidays are a great time to recognize all the amazing people that we have in our lives.  I had a great time making cupcakes and cake pops with friends and then sharing them with family.  Cupcakes are my creative outlet and stress reliever.  Cake pops were a new experiment and although more time consuming they were fun and turned out great!
Today (and all holidays really) is a time you will receive text and/or posts from people you don't hear from often and as much as I enjoy this it is also frustrating to me.  I would keep in touch with everyone that ever walked into my life if they would make the effort in return.  It is sad to me to see so many people walk into and out of friends lives because of people or events that happen.  Friends were there first and I would hope would be there until the end.  I have always said, "No man will ever keep me away from friends, in fact I will have my girl time and encourage him to have his guy time."  I think it is important in any relationship to spend some time apart because no matter how short the time or distance the heart will grow fonder.  God gave us friends for a reason and abusing and using them I'm sure was not in his plan.  I have lost touch with so many great friends, friends that I never thought I would lose, because of boyfriends or choices I could no longer support.  I will always be here with open arms to welcome friends back but respect I will not lose.  Unfortunately for friends that do come back things are never quite the same and feel estranged from that point forward.  So, on days like today when I receive a "Happy Easter" text from a friend I don't talk to on a regular basis I know it came from the heart but I just can't understand why we can't have more than a random text a couple times a year?!  Why can't we move on from that awkward moment even after we have discussed what pulled us apart from the beginning? These and many other similar questions come to mind often but in the end the text brings a smile to my face and I think aloud I LOVE HOLIDAYS and how they will always bring family and friends together.

Hope everyone had a blessed Easter! Happy last week of April (hopefully more Spring feeling weather is on its way for us Indiana people)!!
