Couldn't Have Said it Better

Day 7: today I am thankful for quotes and how they always say exactly what I am thinking but can't quite put the words together.  Quotes provide comfort when situations seem to have no end.  They can be witty, funny, creative, inspirational or almost anything! There is a quote that seems to speak to everyone and every situation out there. I have a few favorites that I like to use around the apartment as daily reminders on how to approach life and in short remember "life is too short to not enjoy every moment"

 I enjoy adding quotes to cards, on my status updates, or even to my blog! Soon I will update the link above and add some of my favorite quotes for you all to enjoy! Lately my favorite quotes that I have come across have been comforting in my long distance relationship with Andrew and when I am having a rough a day of missing him or getting through until the next visit when I search quotes the perfect ones always seem to find me and make me smile :) I love that just the order of words can bring such comfort to my days!

I love quotes and would love to know some of your favorites!

What are you thankful for today? What are your favorite words to live by?

Beyond Snail Mail

{Facebook. Instagram. Pinterest. Skype. Twitter.  Foursquare.}

Day 6: today I am thankful for all of the social media options out there and the ability to keep in touch with anyone instantly no matter the distance! As much as I love sending snail mail, I also love instant gratification and all these sights do just that :) What makes them even better is they are not just websites but are also apps! Everything is at my fingertips--literally! I love apps and how much more fun and easy they make keeping in touch with everyone!

If it weren't for social media I wouldn't know who is "Facebook official", what topics are trending, who is checking in to their local voting poll {#election2012}, or what DIY project is next on my to-do list! Social media allows me to keep up to date with family living in the same state and even Andrew from a different country and time zone! I love everything that social media offers and I know I am not using them to their full potential or even all of the options that out there, but I enjoy the social media world that I live in! I can't wait to see what is next to come...
