The Little Things

I am back! I am going to get back into the swing of things by sharing my '30 Days of Thanks' with you along with that will come the MANY life updates that have happened since my last post.

Day 1: I am thankful for my Little People sets and the creative people at Fisher Price! I have sets that can be enjoyed by all, year round at my place, stop by and see which one is on display :) I am thankful that mom and dad still enjoy buying me "toys" at 27! I enjoy the diversity of cultures within the sets along with the multitude of careers, holidays or occasions that can be celebrated with these adorable toys. Some day when I have children I hope they are as excited as I am to change the sets with the season/holiday! These are more than just a "toy" for me but something little in my life that brings a smile to my face.

It always doesn't have to be big, extravagant or one-of-a-kind to be special to me. I appreciate the little things from day to day! Today, it is those 'little things' {setting up a new Little People set} that remind me I have lots to be thankful for!

Made with LOVE

Much birthday love sent to my beautiful friend Lesley today!

Happy Birthday Lesley!

I haven't posted in some time but wanted to make sure to send my love :) I love birthdays and think they are very important to celebrate.  Everyone deserves their day and should enjoy it to the fullest.  As we get older some think that birthdays don't matter...but they do!  It is more than a number, that number does not and should not define who you are.  Rather, it is a great time to look back at ALL that you have accomplished, where you are going and what is next.  Don't give up on yourself just because of your age, you are better than that and can still accomplish anything and everything you put your mind to!

I love making birthdays special because YOU are special and deserve that ONLY the best!  Always believe and see yourself in the brightest light, if you don't start the trend who will? When you love, trust and believe in yourself it will show to the world not only on your birthday but everyday and everyone will follow.  Set the standard high!

Birthdays might only come once a year, but EVERY day of the year we can work at making our self a better person.  What are you working on?  I have been doing lots of self reflection and searching lately, thus far it has been successful.  It can be scary and even difficult but sometimes that is what we need.  Don't be afraid to face a challenge head on!

I love you Lesley and hope you had a most beautiful day.  Happy birthday!  God Bless!

much love...until next time
